Sitting in training right now looking out the window at the beautiful Dallas weather. Really wish I was out by the pool, but I have to work to pay the bills :) This week has been a blast. Have gotten to visit with an old friend, have authentic Texas Steak (which melted in my mouth), go to the largest country Dancing club/bar in Dallas, sit outside at a Blues Club with awesome live music and so many other things. And before I mention the pool, I did get to go yesterday for a few hours!
All in all the trip has been pretty educational. Have met a lot of our system's users. Nothing like matching a name with a face from the past 5 years. I like Dallas as a city. The streets are wide and it is pretty clean. I'm not sure about the night life, I guess I will find out more about that tonight. Won't be in town for the weekend, since I'll be enjoying Nashville and later its nightlife :) Not much else to write, just finishing up in Dallas and resting as much as I can in prep of the half-marathon this weekend in Nashville.
