This post has the possibility of getting quite long, so I'll have to watch myself. I'll give the basics :) This past Sunday afternoon I asked Erin Collins if she would marry me. She looked at me, put her hands on her hips and was taken completely by surprise. I am glad to say she said yes, or actually in our case she looked at me as if there were no other answer and said "Yeah". It was a great moment and went off perfectly.
After the proposal all of her friends came out from hiding and we had a small get together with family & friends. It was a really good time.
All in all I am glad to say that all of this has happened exactly the way it has. I am incredibly lucky to know a young woman like Erin, much less be on the path toward spending the rest of our lives together...
The Roanoke picture below was after proposing, so there is a ring on her finger :) More photos to be posted later.

Wow! Congrats!
Congratulations, this is great!! I'm so glad you found that special someone.
Will such wonders never cease? I think there will be quite a bit of money changing hands that you were in deed NOT the last of the high school group to get married. :)
I am so unbelievably happy for you, I am at a loss for words. I will pray for your engagement, that you will both enjoy this inevitably hectic time and relish in the anticipation of what is to come. David and I always say that Marriage is the most challenging yet wonderful and rewarding thing you'll experience on this earth...it really is humbling to know that the Lord loves us far more perfectly than we can ever love each other, you'll see. ;)
Erin, while we have yet to meet you, you must be one amazing woman to have captured this guys heart, I know he will love you unconditionally. I welcome into this "family" of ours, we can't wait to meet you!
Love to both of you,
Redonna
Nice. Just one important piece of information to share as a married man: being engaged sucks. I've been there. So HAHA! Get married quickly. Erin, I'm here for you. If you need any dirt or if he gets out of line, you drop me a note. I'll fix it.
Congrats Rex! I'm really happy for you and wish you and Erin a happy life together!
