Been a while since my last update and there is lots to write about. Where to begin?
Biking:
Still biking to work and I think it is growing on me. I've found a pretty good path to work that takes me through some beautiful areas and I see everything from cows to horses on my way to work. The path then cuts across the VA Tech campus where I watch students cross campus heading to their 8am classes. I also just received my new bike (Trek 4900) in the mail and put it together. I did not ride it this morning as I was catching dinner with some friends. I have it pretty well loaded (read rack, front fender, etc.) and ready for commuting.
Yesterday I took my older bike on the bus. The busses here have a bike rack on the front of them that you pull down and place your bike in. So yesterday I did that on the way home. The bus was loaded with students and I get off of the bus and remove my bike. I start to walk away and the bus driver honks the horn. I smile and wave him on, but he honks again. Yeah, I forgot to put the bike rack back up. Feeling the fool I put it back into place and sent the 50-60 students on their way :)
Bed:
So we just received a new bed. It is a memory foam mattress that is supposed to take a week to break in. It is king sized due to the fact that our honeymoon bed was king sized and it allows us plenty of room to sleep while not interfering with the other's sleep. 2 nights in and I'd recommend it.
Other things is that I've cleaned off the back porch and thrown all of the brush into the street. Only I did this a month early. You see every month we get this neighborhood newsletter and the most recent one I received said (so I thought) this past Monday was brush cleaning day and the town would come around and clean up. Well, it turns out it is the third week in October. Luckily for me I was saved because the mowing people happened to come on Tuesday and dragged it off for me. If not then I was going to have to find a truck to haul it all off.
In life right now Erin and I are enjoying each other's company and deciding what all we want to dive into. I have some ideas for myself and she has some too. Just how to start them is the next step for us. I feel at a good place right now and am enjoying things. I am looking to maybe alter my sleep schedule a bit and have been studying sleep cycles. Could be good, could be bad. I'll keep you updated :)

Glad to hear things are going well and you guys are enjoying married life!
We got a king size bed when we moved into this house and we love it too. If only the cats didn't take up half the bed we'd really have enough space.
Talk with you later!
Maybe I'll just copy and paste your blog update into mine. Do you think that would work??
People would be really confused about a number of things (Erin, Biking, etc), but at least it would buy me some time.
Great reading your update!! I like it a lot.
