Last night we celebrated Erin’s birthday with the family in Salem. She turned the big 26 and it was good to have everyone together for such an occasion. She was asked what she’d like to have for her birthday dinner, guess what she chooses? The answer is… Pizza and Mac & Cheese. Yeah, that’s my wife.
We have lots of wonderful friends who have invited us to dinners, Super Bowl Parties, etc, but we are finding it difficult to be able to go to everything since we are spending late nights in Salem and enjoy rest when we are at home. Thanks for your e-mails, cards, etc, they help sustain us.
This weekend holds me helping out with Rush voting for Phi Sigma Pi over at Virginia Tech, our first (although it is the second) Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University Class. After that I will be taking Erin out to celebrate her birthday by the way of a nice dinner. I’ll likely fix up Rick’s Truck for sale, take pictures, etc. I am also working on setting up a meeting to discuss financial issues for the family. Strangely enough I am looking forward to the financial planning aspect of it and meeting with the planner in Roanoke. Have a good weekend!
