Not sure where to start, but starting is good.

So it's been a while, a long while and I'm not sure where to start. As time has went on and I have not blogged I think I've been a little overwhelmed with trying to catch up. So I'm not going to try. I'll throw in some stories from here and there as I go along, but at this point catching up would be impossible. A short list of things that have happened since last blogging:

• I stood alongside a friend with a terminal brain tumor, this started right after my father-in-law's brain tumor. Now a Cousin in NC that I see every few months has a brain tumor. I never want to hear that word again. After the first couple I think my body decided to take a break by decompressing. That is the best way I can describe it. Just needed time to reflect on the emotional side of watching someone go from fine to dying in such short periods of time. Of course this has a pretty profound way of making one think about life.

• The most recent thing is that I broke my wrist playing Ultimate Frisbee last Thursday. It was a clean break and I have a splint on it. I'm giving it 6 weeks and I'll see where to go from there.

• Went camping:

• Walked the 'survivor lap' with Carol at Salem's Relay for Life:

• On a lighter note, the dog finished 'dog obedience school'.

I still have stories of gardening and our current process of selling our townhouse.
