The first few weeks of marriage, from an email I sent

Below is cut from an email I sent. I have so much to post regarding the Galax Fiddler's Convention and this past weekend's trip to Charlottesville to see a friend (picture coming soon) perform in "West Side Story". The production sounded great and Erin was surprised, esp. since I told her where we were going on the way there :)

Now for the email clip:
The first few weeks of marriage have been nothing short of wonderful. It has been good not to say goodbye every night and to spend time working on new things together. I'm still pretty amazed at how well we work as a team and get excited about encouraging one another. We've had tiffs, but it's been because one or another of us have been in some sort of off mood. I've learned that the sooner we address that, such as a simple, I'm feeling blah, the better things go. Just the little things I guess.

She is now training for the next half marathon on Sept 3rd and I am riding the bike while she runs, since my knee is acting up. The townhouse is an ongoing project and we have actually been making a good bit of progress. Your old bedroom is the office, Lang's old room is the guest room and I think the downstairs room will be a guest room / den / hobby area? No plans yet, right now we are focusing on the middle and upper floors. It's funny because after all of that work on the barn this seems a lot easier!
