So this past weekend we held a Yard Sale. I was not expecting to make a whole lot and some of the things we sold were decorations for the wedding ceremony and reception. I was surprised to see that the 2 large fans went so fast and that we got what we asked for them. I am ebaying some of the other things including the
misting fans and the Chinese lanterns. After the sale we took the remaining items to the local YMCA Thrift Store and made a trash run. The remainder of the afternoon included a nap and a trip out to the River.
One side effect of having a yard sale was meeting lots of our neighbors. In the past 3 years that I have lived there I have not met nearly as many people as I did this past weekend. Hoping to have a few of them over for dinner sometime.
I put the new grill together while the Yard Sale was in progress and held a "Welcome Back Cookout" for the brothers in Phi Sigma Pi. A pretty busy weekend, but a lot of fun.
