Virginia Tech Homecoming Weekend

So it's homecoming weekend. The time when a bunch of old friends roll into town and catch up. I'll have guests this weekend and am even planning on playing a little football on Saturday after Virginia Tech plays UNC. A few things arrived in the mail this week, the first is the Cabela's Camp kitchen. I put it together, took maybe 10 minutes, when it arrived. Should have taken a picture, but the camera is acting up.

I am debating taking it out to tailgate with this weekend. Not sure what the tailgates have been like this year and they may be set, but I figure if something like this could help, why not?

Also landed a pretty nice family size tent, that I have yet to put together. I'm sure that will be taken care of by the end of the weekend.

I was trying to think of more "Tales from the Trailer Park", but nothing too eventful has happened. The latest is that I called Social Services last week to see what they could do about getting the boys that live across from us in school. They have been living there about as long as I have and have not been attending. After being handed off to the school system and finally to the local elementary school I found out that they we attempting to get into school, but did not have all of the documentation since there mother is in Indiana or Ohio and their Dad is missing in California. Really a pretty confusing situation. The best part about it all though is that yesterday when they were returning a game cube game one of them said, "Hey! Guess What? Something really exciting happened to us today. We went to school!" I just smiled.
