Bad Blogger

So I remembered to blog late last night and blogger was acting up, or my computer was acting up. Likely it was neither and I was just acting up, it is what I do best!

Anyway I'm sick, so I've been resting. That about sums it up. This week has been laden with plans for the fall and trying to budget for all of next year. I have trips here and there and grad school and all kinds of things. I've slacked a little on my GMAT studying, so that will get a kick in the rear this week. And it looks like I am in for an all weekend study session, WOHOO!!!

My thoughts lately revolve around the concept of 'forgiveness'. As I may have posted long before I believe 'hope' to be one of the core things necessary for living (note I did not type survival, I see the 2 as very different). Well I have been thinking about how both 'forgiveness' and 'hope' are linked in that forgiveness can create hope out of nothing. Where there was no hope and unconditional forgiveness enters, hope is born. Quite beautiful actually.

The great thing about forgiveness is that it creates hope for both the person doing the forgiving and the person that is forgiven. It is definitely not an easy thing to do, but most things that provide great reward have a degree of difficulty attached. Thanks for making me think about this today. I hope you start to feel better soon.

Did Forgiveness start at the Cross? Luke, Chap. 23, Verse 34! For it is the Cross that gives us the hope.

You still have me thinking about forgiveness - mainly about how the person I have the hardest time forgiving is myself. Why is it that I am so much harder on myself than I am on those around me? Definitely something that I need to work on!
