So a few people have asked me what my summer plans were. I don't have everything down to a list. But here were some things I was thinking:
"The summer holds training for another half-marathon. This one will be in VA Beach during Labor Day Weekend. I'm going to try speed training for the first time, should be interesting. I've never done ANY work on a track before. Should be fun to learn something new. Part of it will also be me helping to get a 15 year old ready for the fall soccer season :) Other plans include creating my first photo journal (not sure how this will work yet), starting my essays and spending a LOT of time outdoors. A month ago I designated this the 'summer of camping'. I've been 3 times so far and am taking a group of 10ish out this weekend. I'm also looking to get a kayak for the River, I took lessons a few weeks ago and loved being out on the water again. So yeah, my summer will be interesting..."
And there you have it. In other news I lifted at the gym for the first time in 3 weeks (since before the last Half Marathon in April), good to get back to it. Next week I start running again. This also means I start a new training blog... It's going to kill me :)
