Christmas cookies, Caroling and a Dog

As of these past 2 days I have been told that I have been slacking on my blogging. I then go into some explanation about how I am blogging plenty, just not on this site. And of course that doesn't convince anyone of anything. So it is time for a post. I'll start with last night. Last night was Christmas Cookie night. In what now has become a tradition a group of us get together, watch "How the Grinch Stole Christmas", listen to Christmas music and make cookies from scratch.

After the cookies we gathered our coats, hats, gloves, etc. and headed out caroling. Let me tell you the first song we sang was Horrible! I would have shut the door had I heard that noise. Luckily for us, we sounded better as the evening went on. In all we hit 10 - 20 houses and saw everything from folks that were completely surprised to see carolers, to students studying for finals, to a dog that ran outside and relieved himself for what seemed to be forever. Ever try to sing Christmas carols with a growling dog standing in front of you relieving himself? It was very strange...

Rodney the "Ladies Snowman" (Curt's creation last year) made an appearance and seems to have found himself a lady friend!

And what do you get when you mix guys and Christmas cookie making without cookie cutters?

Tonight's plans are to continue Christmas shopping in my hopes to finish it all up, finish my cards and send everything out by next Friday, December 16th. Wonder if I'll make it. Heck, wonder if the 10+ packages on their way to me in the mail will arrive anytime soon?

I think it is cooking spray, but then again, I wouldn't be suprised to find out it was actually spray paint. I had a blast doing the cookies and carolling...thanks everyone.
