Light snow and sleet will continue to fall across the mountain Empire of far southwest Virginia at mid afternoon. This mixed precipitation will spread northeastward into southeast West Virginia...the northwest mountains of North Carolina...and into the foothills of southwest Virginia during the remainder of the afternoon. Accumulations during this time frame will range near one inch.
