Here it is Monday morning after a pretty relaxing weekend. Rockwood work was cancelled this Saturday due to a full house and graduation being held at both Radford and Virginia Tech. After speaking with Frank (owner of the Rockwood) I am going to look to be working a few days during the week after work. We'll see where that goes.
I am 3 weeks in (entering week 4 of 12) of my new diet/workout schedule. Overall I have more energy and am eating better. I have not noticed a difference in my weight (bobbles between 161 - 164 lbs.). The only difference that I have noticed is that I have more room in my pants around the waist area. I purchased a new bathroom scale that is supposed to measure fat % and I fall somewhere around 14%. It's good to get in shape and I'm glad I have gadgets to measure all of this because I don't want to deal with all kinds of readings and don't think I'd be able to do things like count calories. There are too many other things to be doing. Not sure how training will change in a few weeks when I have to start running again. In about 4 weeks training for the VA Beach half-marathon will start back up.
Yesterday I ate at least 12 chocolate chip cookies, part of a chocolate bunny, steak, shrimp, a BLT and that might be about it. I like Sundays, I have no diet :)
The rest of this week is pretty wide open. I'd like to take a trip down to Pulaski, VA to see a cousin play soccer and of course there is always wedding planning to work on...
